DEAR JERRY: In the late 1970s, when I made the rounds of the Phoenix disco clubs, one of the dee jays at the Jockey Club played a song I never ever heard again.

It has a typical thump-thump disco beat, but with beautiful, full orchestration. Most of the singing is by a woman, but a man is also heard here and there.

As I recall, the lyrics were mostly about the pros and cons of making out in public (not that I would do such a thing).

Have you ever heard of such a recording? No one else I ask has.

DEAR LOUISE: Your secrets are safe with me.

Proper song identification can be futile when you lack both title and artist. Fortunately, your clues pointed specifically to "Let's Make Love in Public Places," by the Love Symphony Orchestra, featuring vocals by Diva Gray and Neil Shepard.

That 13 minute tune is the lead track on the album "Penthouse Presents Pulsating Disco and Romantic Moods for Loving and Dancing" (Talpro 100), issued in the summer of 1978

Mitch Farber produced the LP, wrote most of the music, and directs the appropriately named Love Symphony Orchestra on this very unusual album.

Issued in conjunction with Penthouse Magazine, and sold only by mail order, the packaging features a gallery of models exactly as they could be found on the pages of Penthouse — mostly nude.

The front cover proudly announces a "Bonus 12" x 12" Penthouse Pet Inside."

Of course the actual Pet was not inside, but her glamour shot was.


DEAR JERRY: I really need some advice regarding a Disney Extended Play record that is high on my want list.

From the days when the Mickey Mouse Club was on TV, its title is "Walt Disney's Annette: Songs About the Famous Mouseketeers, Sung By Jimmie Dodd."

The four tracks included are: "Annette"; "Karen"; "Hey, Cubby Boy" and "Banjo Joe."

This EP is almost never listed for sale, but on those rare occasions when it was, asking prices ranged from $100 to $1,000.

To what do you attribute such a huge variance?

DEAR HARVEY: More often than not, a noteworthy price discrepancy for the same item reflects a significant difference in their condition. Another possibility is that one seller simply has either more or less invested in acquiring the merchandise in the first place.

Though these considerations may figure into the pricing, with this specific EP there is an enormous premium attached to copies with the original cover.

Both versions are identified as Disneyland DBR-69, and both came out in 1957, but you can instantly tell them apart if you know where to look.

First issue front covers show the title as "Walt Disney's Annette (Sung By Jimmie Dodd)" These slicks are four-color, including a color photo of Annette in ballerina attire. Here she is larger than the TV screen behind her, as though she were standing in front of it. This cover also has "As Featured on Your TV Screen!" at the lower left corner.

In a mysterious move, one reminiscent of the Beatles butcher cover boondoggle of 1966, the Disney folks quickly replaced the color cover with a duotone one.

The revised title — even more prolix than the Penthouse LP above — is "Walt Disney's Annette: Songs About the Famous Mouseketeers (Sung By Jimmie Dodd)."

Annette is now shrunk to about half her former size and merely part of a black-and-white screen grab of the actual TV episode in which she does a ballerina routine to Jimmie Dodd's recording of "Annette."

The area at the lower left now has songwriting credits instead of "As Featured on Your TV Screen!"

The records themselves, whether 45 or 78 rpm (it came both ways), are the same regardless of which cover is used.

As much as $1,000 has indeed been paid for this EP with the original cover; however, in auctions where anything is possible, a few have sold for much less.

Relatively speaking, the second cover is much more common, but still fetches from $100 to $200.


IZ ZAT SO? For many of the charter Mouseketeers (1955-1959), the astonishing exposure from their time with Disney served as a launching pad for show business careers.

Sonic Highways (On Sale) by Foo Fighters

Though not a soundtrack album by any stretch, Sonic Highways shares its title with the Dave Grohl-directed eight-episode HBO series described by Grohl as a love letter to the history of American music and premiering Friday, October 17 at 11 p.m.. For the album and series, Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear wrote and recorded one song in each of these eight cities, delving into the local musical currents: how each region shaped these musicians in their formative years, and in turn the impact those people had on the cultural fabric of their hometowns. All songs feature local legends sitting in, with every lyric written in an unprecedented experimental style: Dave held off on putting down words until the last day of each session, so as to be inspired by the experiences, interviews for the HBO series, and other local personalities who became part of the process.

CCR: The Complete Studio Albums by Creedence Clearwater Revival

Undeniably one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Creedence Clearwater Revival has sold over 50 million albums worldwide since their formation in the 1960s, with their songs on consistent rotation on Classic Rock radio. The Complete Studio Albums (7-LP Box Set) brings together the legendary band’s entire studio output in one comprehensive collection, all on 180-gram vinyl. The collection features all of the band’s instantly recognizable hits, including “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son,” “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” “Lookin’ Out My Back Door,” “Travelin’ Band,” and “Down on the Corner."

 Although their music evoked the raw, gospel-tinged sound of the rural South, Doug Clifford, Stu Cook, and Tom and John Fogerty actually hailed from El Cerrito, CA, where, in junior high school, the boys formed a band called The Blue Velvets. By the end of 1964, the band had signed with Fantasy Records, under the name The Golliwogs. The young band resolutely played local clubs and released a half-dozen garage rock flavored singles, before renaming themselves Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1967. Just a few months later, the quartet released their eponymous debut under the new moniker.

Though the 1968 release of Creedence Clearwater Revival paralleled the flowering of the San Francisco music scene, the band had little in common with the "San Francisco Sound." On the contrary, the LP contained rock standards such as Dale Hawkins's "Susie Q" and Screamin' Jay Hawkins's "I Put a Spell on You,"(both of which became immediate hits) as well as original material by John Fogerty, who was to emerge as one of rock's most influential songwriters.

1969 was an epic year in the too-short history of Creedence Clearwater Revival. In that year alone, the band released three Top Ten albums (Bayou Country, Green River and Willy and the Poor Boys), scoring four hit singles and three charting B-sides. In addition to the incredible quantity and quality of their releases, the band also played the Woodstock festival, performed on the Ed Sullivan show twice and toured throughout North America. Coming off the momentum of the previous year, 1970 proved to be just as productive—if not more—for the band. Cosmo's Factory, cited in Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list, came out that July, and included the hits "Who'll Stop the Rain," "Lookin' Out My Back Door" and an 11- minute rendition of Marvin Gaye’s hit "I Heard It Through the Grapevine." By the time of Pendulum's release later that year, Creedence was the top-selling rock band in the world, coming off seven consecutive Top 10 hits.

In 1971, Tom Fogerty left the band to pursue a solo career, while the remaining members went on to record Mardi Gras, their final studio album, released in 1972. Though the band members went their separate ways so early into their careers, CCR’s music remains as popular as ever, garnering new fans from every generation.

This box set is a must-have for Creedence Clearwater Revival fans and vinyl collectors alike.

Lizard In A Woman’s Skin Available From DeathWaltz

It is a proud day for Death Waltz Recording Company as we prepare to release a score by one of the biggest composers in film music history. Ennio Morricone (ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, CINEMA PARADISO, ORCA: KILLER WHALE) has produced masterpiece after masterpiece, but none so creatively unsettling as his score to the 1971 Lucio Fulci giallo A LIZARD IN A WOMAN’S SKIN (aka UNA LUCERTOLA CON LA PELLE DI DONNA). As always, elements of the maestro’s music are beautiful, with ethereal vocals by regular collaborator Edda dell’Orso, and this works even better in stark contrast with the harsher sections, with eerie woodwinds, the requisite whistling, wind instruments that sound like coyote howls, and low rhythmic bass that hits your head and your stomach at a point where you start to wonder if someone else is if the house with you. Still, if you’re going to be graphically murdered, A LIZARD IN A WOMAN’S SKIN is the soundtrack to have it done to you by.

SOUNDTRACK (OST) - TRANSFORMERS

“Beyond good. Beyond evil. Beyond your wildest imagination.” The 1986 animated feature film The Transformers: The Movie was based on the animated TV series by the same name. The film was directed by Nelson Shin, who produced the original Transformers television series, and features the voices of Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Casey Kasem, Robert Stack, Lionel Stander, John Moschitta, Jr., Peter Cullen and Frank Welker. It also marked the final roles for both Orson Welles, who died just days after his last voice recording session for the film, and Scatman Crothers, who died months after its releases.

Set to a soundtrack of synth-based incidental music and hard- driving metal music, composed by Vince DiCola, the movie has a decidedly darker tone than the television series. Stan Bush’s song “The Touch”, which prominently featured in the film, was originally written for the Sylvester Stallone movie Cobra.

The movie also feature other well known songs including “Instruments of Destruction” by NRG, Stan Bush’s song “Dare”, two songs by Spectre General, “Nothin’s Gonna Stand In Our Way”, “Hunger” as well as “Weird Al” Yankovic’s song “Dare to Be Stupid”. The Transformers theme song for the movie was performed by the band Lion.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE - SOMETHING ABOUT AIRPLANES

Something About Airplanes is the debut studio album by indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie, released August 18, 1998 on Barsuk Records. A remastered anniversary version of the album was released on November 25, 2008.

Early recordings of five songs from this album can be found on the You Can Play These Songs with Chords compilation.A tenth anniversary edition of the album was released on November 25, 2008, featuring redesigned artwork, liner notes by Sean Nelson and a bonus disc including the band's first ever Seattle performance at the Crocodile Cafein February 1998.

SOUNDTRACK (OST) - BLACK DYNAMITE PICTURE DISC

The first official release from multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and producer Adrian Younge, Black Dynamite (Original Motion Picture Score) was the meticulously crafted sonic accompaniment to the 2009 Michael Jai White comedy. The title is now being reissued as a limited edition picture disc on Younge's own Linear Labs imprint. Inspired by the great blaxploitation soundtracks of the 1970s, Younge commands the Rhodes electric piano, Hammond organ, Hohner Clavinet, harpsichord, synthesizer, vibraphone, guitar, bass, flute, sax, cello, and drums to craft a singular vision of the era.

Since its release, the film has grown into a formidable franchise including a comic book and animated television series on Cartoon Network. Now five years later, the score is being reissued with the full set of instrumentals and four additional tracks including a rare version of 'Jimmy's Dead' by Tommy Davidson. A certifiable cult classic, the film centers around ex-CIA agent Black Dynamite's fight to avenge his brother's murder while cleaning up the streets of the deadly Anaconda malt liquor. Having been involved with the film from its inception, Younge's score is intimately woven into the film's narrative. As editor, Younge worked closely with director Scott Sanders to ensure the authenticity of the film's pace and musical accompaniment. The final result is a clever homage that sounds more like an unearthed gem from the '70s complete with MPC-ready Wu-Tang samples rather than a modern creation.

This authentic sound is one that Younge has been cultivating for years. His ability to replicate the nuanced stylistic effects of a bygone era are the result of utilizing exclusively vintage analog recording equipment and techniques, and long hours studying the sounds of heroes like Ennio Morricone and Curtis Mayfield. Laboring away in his Los Angeles based Linear Labs studio, Younge played every instrument on the record, teaching himself anything he didn't already know. Through a dogged work ethic and determination, Younge has painstakingly constructed a modern vintage sound that harkens to the past with its sights on the future. Black Dynamite is a must-have for any fan of the blaxploitation era and dark soul music, a modern-day classic whose legendary status will only grow stronger over time

Weezer's Death To False Metal' Available On 180 Gram Vinyl

Death To False Metal is not a traditional collection of studio leftovers or songs from the vault, but a wholly original follow-up to Weezer's just-released Hurley. The album was created using the basic tracks of 10 previously unreleased recordings—nine never-before-heard songs plus one cover—to assemble a brand new and truly modern-sounding record. The result is an evolution for the band, a giant step forward with a nod to the past.

"These were great songs, great recordings, but for some reason they didn't make the final cut for previous records," Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo stated. "Some just weren't right for the albums we were recording at the time—just a bit ahead of their time or too 'rock.' Now, the time is right to introduce them. Together, they are the album that should logically follow Hurley."

Featuring tracks the band originally began recording from the late '90s to late '00s, Death To False Metal was a labor of love for Cuomo and his co-producer Shawn Everett, as well as the entire band. Each track was individually evaluated by the production team of Cuomo and Everett to figure out how to make each of the songs reach their full potential, and ultimately fit harmoniously on the album. After that process, they then brought in each band member in to complete the parts needed. Some of the ten songs received a major overhaul, while others got the equivalent of a sonic tune-up.

The title Death To False Metal comes from a phrase that Cuomo and his younger brother used when they were kids. Musical integrity was a matter of life or death then, and now the new album is a reminder of how important music is for both Weezer and their many fans. At a time when many of their contemporaries seem to have forgotten how to rock, Weezer is ready to teach them. Cuomo and fellow axe-slinger Brian Bell crafted nine epic guitar solos—one for nearly every song on Death To False Metal—and with the band's signature hooks in full effect, Weezer's school of rock is back in session.

Julee Cruise's 'Floating Into the Night' Vinyl Repress

And what an album it is - including the This Mortal Coil inspired ‘Mysteries of Love’ from Blue Velvet, plus ‘Falling’ from Twin Peaks and the mind-melting ‘Into The Night’ - one of the very best things Badalamenti ever produced, and that’s really saying something. But there’s so much more here - ‘The Nightingale, ‘The Swan’ plus odd little touches - like the minute-long concrete/collage piece that closes the A-Side to terrifying effect. It’s an incredible album that seems to have matured with age, if you haven't heard it before - it's a total peach.

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - NATURAL BORN KILLERS

Produced by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, the soundtrack to the film Natural Born Killers (1994) was a downright smash in youngster's music tastes of the era. On his approach to compiling the soundtrack, Reznor told MTV: "I suggested to Oliver [Stone] to try to turn the soundtrack into a collage-of-sound, kind of the way the movie used music: make edits, add dialog, and make it something interesting, rather than a bunch of previously released music."

Some songs were written especially for the film or soundtrack, such as "Burn" by Nine Inch Nails. Other songs featured are by artists like Patti Smith, Cowboy Junkies, Leonard Cohen, Jane's Addiction, Dr. Dre and Juliette Lewis. The album has sold 500,000 copies in the United States, making it a Gold record.

THE ANIMALS - COMPLETE ANIMALS

This triple vinyl package includes the complete sessions that The Animals recorded with producer Mickie Most in 1964 and 1965. The 40 songs capture the band at their peak, including most of their best and biggest hits: "House of the Rising Sun", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "Bring It on Home To Me", "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "I'm Crying", "It's My Life" and "Boom Boom."

Many of these songs are covers of vintage R&B/rock tunes by Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, and the like. The Animals produced some great album tracks, such as "I'm Mad Again" (originally by John Lee Hooker), "Worried Life Blues", and "Bury My Body".

After leaving Most, the group would maintain their peak for another year or so despite the departure of one of Rock's all-time finest organists, Alan Price. This compilation has everything that Price recorded with the group, including four previously unreleased cuts and the non-LP Eric Burdon original on the B-side of "It's My Life", "I'm Gonna Change the World."

JOE COCKER - LIVE

Joe Cocker Live is a superb live album by Joe Cocker, released in 1990. It was recorded on October 5th, 1989 at Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts with the exception of the last two tracks which were recorded in the studio.

The album features tracks by Dave Mason ("Feelin' Alright"), Randy Newman ("Guilty", "You Can Leave Your Hat On"), The Beatles ("With A Little Help From My Friends"), and the Dennis Wilson / Billy Preston penned hit "You Are So Beautiful".

The album went Platinum in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and achieved Gold status in France. This is the first ever reissue of this double LP set on 180 gram audiophile vinyl!

BUZZCOCKS - SINGLES GOING STEADY

Singles Going Steady is THE definitive compilation album by English punk band Buzzcocks, first released in 1979. It was the first Buzzcocks album to be released in North America and intended as an introduction to the band for the American public, coinciding with a US tour. After healthy sales on import in the UK over the next two years, and following the group's split in early 1981, the album was belatedly released in the UK as a Greatest Hits album.

Side One features their eight UK single releases from 1977 up to 1979 in chronological order, while Side Two featured their corresponding B-sides, also in chronological order.

NME called it 'is the best Buzzcocks long-player to be realized' and signified the band as follows: 'Employing the most traditional of beat group formations and turning their attention to the most elemental considerations, Shelley and the Buzzcocks created pop of such intense truthfulness it literally hurts." KALEIDOSCOPE - SIDE TRIPS

Kaleidoscope (originally The Kaleidoscope) was an American psychedelic folk and ethnic band who recorded 4 albums and several singles for Epic Records between 1966 and 1970. Kaleidoscope were one of the progenitors of World Music. Side Trips was the band's 1967 debut album. On the album each member played many instruments; for example, David Lindley played guitar, banjo, fiddle, and mandolin, and Solomon Feldthouse played saz, bouzouki, dobro, vina, oud, doumbek, dulcimer, fiddle, guitar, and vocals.

The group was founded on democratic principles – there was no "leader". The first single, "Please" was released in December 1966. It was produced by Barry Friedman (later known as Frazier Mohawk), as was their first album Side Trips, released in June 1967. The album showcased the group's musical diversity and studio experimentation. It included Feldthouse's "Egyptian Gardens", Darrow's "Keep Your Mind Open", and versions of Cab Calloway's "Minnie the Moocher" and Dock Boggs' "Oh Death".   180 gram audiophile vinyl

NEW RELEASE! Trini Lopez - At PJ's

Special 50th Anniversary Numbered Limited Edition on 200g Vinyl

Hollywood, CA - Exhibit Records announces the release of a Special 50th Anniversary Numbered Limited Edition album of Trini Lopez, "At PJ’s." The 200 gram vinyl record is beautifully presented in a sturdy old style gatefold jacket featuring the original album art work and for the first time includes the lyrics to all the tunes. The back of each album is foil-stamped with its unique number.

With the release of this album in April 1963 Trini Lopez became one of the biggest singing stars of the Folk Revival. Trini Lopez, "At PJ's" made it to #2 on the Billboard charts and stayed in the Top 40 for over a year. The album included the chart-topping "If I Had a Hammer" which reached number one in 36 countries and was a radio favorite for many years. The hit single sold more than 4 million copies and the album sold over a million and was awarded a gold record.

This was the album that made Lopez an instant success and the live party-a-go-go atmosphere of the record did much to put Trini's likable energy over the top. What Lopez did, at the head of a trio was to make folk-pop swing. Other songs include "This Land Is Your Land," and "Gotta Travel On." It could be surmised that by treating such material in this fashion, Lopez had a tiny influence upon the subsequent folk-rock movement...though, Lopez was more the all-around entertainer with a Latin lilt than he was a pure folk singer, so you also get "America" (from West Side Story), "La Bamba," Ray Charles' "What'd I Say," "Volare," and "When the Saints Go Marching In."

Father John Misty 'I Love You, Honeybear' Pre-Order Details

“I Love You, Honeybear is a concept album about a guy named Josh Tillman who spends quite a bit of time banging his head against walls, cultivating weak ties with strangers and generally avoiding intimacy at all costs. This all serves to fuel a version of himself that his self-loathing narcissism can deal with. We see him engaging in all manner of regrettable behavior.

“In a parking lot somewhere he meets Emma, who inspires in him a vision of a life wherein being truly seen is not synonymous with shame, but possibly true liberation and sublime, unfettered creativity. These ambitions are initially thwarted as jealousy, self-destruction and other charming human character traits emerge.  Josh Tillman confesses as much all throughout.

“The album progresses, sometimes chronologically, sometimes not, between two polarities: the first of which is the belief that the best love can be is finding someone who is miserable in the same way you are and the end point being that love isn’t for anyone who isn’t interested in finding a companion to undertake total transformation with. I won’t give away the ending, but sex, violence, profanity and excavations of the male psyche abound.

Destroyer's 'Your Blues' Vinyl Reissue Details

On December 2, Merge will reissue Destroyer’s Your Blues on vinyl, marking its first appearance in that format in the US and Europe. On the occasion of the Destroyer LP reissue, Canadian music writer Michael Barclay wrote of the album:

Your Blues is luxurious pop presented as high drama, the ideal sonic setting for Bejar’s oft-arch, oft-parodied delivery. It’s here, not in front of a rock band, where his voice is actually most at home: in a world where nothing sounds real, and everything is possible and wondrous and exclamatory. Pity the poor believers in “purity” and “authenticity,” tired and meaningless words that should never be applied to any art form, least of all pop music. (“So, Great Pretender, pull a face!”) Bejar’s sloganeering—Your Blues contains some of his most memorable phrases, almost as many as Streethawk—is all the more powerful when presented in contrast to the synthetic veneer.

“People say, ‘They just didn’t want it enough.’ Oh, but we were the Music Lovers!” Destroyer doesn’t want what you think he wants; he doesn’t want what you think he should, as a so-called rock singer. He’s called Destroyer for a reason. On Your Blues, Bejar made it crystal clear that your blues are your business; they have nothing to do with his art or wherever he decides to take it. Dan Bejar never went back to Your Blues—not even while touring the record, which involved the B.C. band Frog Eyes pummeling these songs to the ground as only a Beefheartish art-rock band could. Jan and Dean 'Carnival Of Sound' (CD/LP) From Rhino

Jan Berry and Dean Torrence rode a wave of popularity in the early ’60s that earned the So-Cal duo more than a dozen Top 40 hits, including the #1 smash “Surf City.” The group’s good fortune came to a tragic halt in 1966 when Berry suffered debilitating injuries in a car accident near Dead Man’s Curve, a treacherous road that, ironically, was the subject of one of the group’s earlier hits. As he battled tirelessly to recover, Berry spent the next three years recording songs for a new Jan and Dean album to be titled Carnival of Sound. Despite the quality of the music, the album was never released and became one of rock ’n’ roll’s lost treasures, until now.

Rhino Handmade offers two versions of CARNIVAL OF SOUND. The first is a single CD whose 29 songs include mono and stereo mixes of the album along with bonus tracks from the 1966-68 sessions.

The other is a deluxe edition that combines the aforementioned CD with a vinyl version of the album in mono presented in a gorgeous hardbound gatefold jacket. To present a clear and vivid picture of what Berry was up to during this transitional phase, the collection’s producer Andrew Sandoval spent three years carefully reviewing and compiling every tape Berry submitted to Warner Bros. for use on CARNIVAL OF SOUND.

Although Jan cut multiple LP-length acetates of his work at the time, he left behind no definitive track list or sequence for the songs to be included on the album,” he explains in the liner notes. “I created the sequence you hear … by grouping his post-accident tracks together and closing with his pre-accident masters. The two parts of this story have such different flavors that they seem to flow best in this manner.” CARNIVAL OF SOUND opens with “Girl, You’re Blowing My Mind,” an upbeat poppy track that kicks off with a guitar that sounds like a jet engine. It then moves into songs that expand Jan and Dean’s signature sound, including the sitar-infused “Mulholland,” the wild imagery of “Laurel And Hardy,” the poignant ballad “I Know My Mind” and the Indian instrumentation of the title track. To round out the album, a selection of oldies was brought in from sessions Berry cut prior to his accident. Maurice Williams & The Zodiac’s “Stay” was given a quick, 1:35 run-through. The Five Satins’ “In The Still Of The Night” displayed Berry’s new friendship with The Monkees’ Davy Jones, who gave the song some true bubblegum sincerity with a spoken interlude. Berry added horns and woodwinds to his ’66 tracking session for Rusty and Doug Kershaw’s 1961 swamp pop hit “Louisiana Man.”

Among the collection’s bonus tracks are “Don’t Drop It” and a demo for “Laurel And Hardy,” plus two versions of “Girl, You’re Blowing My Mind,” Berry’s final mix and another with an alternate backing track.

The CD contains Berry’s original mono mixes along with new stereo mixes that Sandoval says are meant to be more illustrative of Jan’s work, rather than a definitive statement. “On careful inspection, Jan’s mono mixes can’t be beat, but the new stereo versions afford the listener a bigger window into his production prowess,” Sandoval says. “Listen out for such anomalies as the longer coda on ‘Mulholland,’ or the vocal verse that later became a guitar solo on ‘Girl, You’re Blowing My Mind.’” More than four decades after Berry found solace in these sounds, they arrive for everyone to share as the Carnival finally comes to town.

Deluxe edition combines the aforementioned CD with a vinyl version of the album in mono presented in a gorgeous hardbound gate fold jacket.

Just when you think you know all about the late 60's/early70's scenes on the planet, along comes the second volume of the mind-broadening Working-Class Devils series to deliver unbelievable cuts and bands. The faves from volume 1 are all there including Krzysztof Klenczon & Trzy Korony's another prime freakbeat/psych fuzz rocker, Zdr—j Jana's trademark proto no-wave skronky-guitar weirdness or Niebiesko-Czarni horsing around again with a distortion pedal.
