The legendary Clive Davis, Chief Creative Officer, Sony Music Entertainment and longtime Santana collaborator, recently saw the show when he was in Las Vegas for a special VIP listening event to launch Santana's new album. "The Santana show at The Joint of The Hard Rock Hotel is purely and simply a gem. It includes hard driving, dazzling guitar versions of all his great hits as well as several all time vintage guitar classics from his brand new album. The evening rocks from beginning to end and the audience is on its feet cheering throughout. It's a memorable evening in every way," said Davis.

This past August, fans experienced a special performance of the show with guest vocalists as part of the launch of Santana's latest album, Guitar Heaven…The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time (on Arista Records). To celebrate the September 21 release, Santana and guest artists from the album are making special TV appearances to launch the new songs. The first appearance combined the talents of Santana and india.arie as they did their rendition of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (September 16). Then, Santana electrified audiences by performing "Photograph" with Chris Daughtry and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with india.arie on Dancing With The Stars (September 21). In addition, Santana opened the show with "Oye Como Va." Santana has two more upcoming appearances, both on Lopez Tonight. Tonight (September 23), india.arie will sing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with Santana and on September 27 Nas will perform "Back In Black" with the band. Fans should check their local listings for times.
