Grand Funk Railroad - We’re An American Band (180 gram Audiophile)(vinyl)

Grand Funk have continued to be one of the biggest selling artists of all time. Their historic concerts are legendary, their albums are all important achievements of the classic rock era, and their continuing fan base is second to none.

We're An American Band changed history once again for this multi-platinum act as it rose to the top of the charts and brought them more deserved fame. As the anthem-like title track and album took off, even more chart action unfolded with hits like Walk Like A Man (You Can Call Me Your Man). This groundbreaking album also included some very hard hitting rockers like Black Licorice, The Railroad and more fan favorites like Stop Looking Back.

Led by the dynamic lead guitar and vocals of the legendary Mark Farner, the incredible power drummer/vocalist Don Brewer, the thumping bass of Mel Schacher and the arrival of their new member Craig Frost on keyboards, this new energized sound of Grand Funk Railroad, now produced by Todd Rundgren (Meat Loaf, Badfinger) were recordings made for the history books, as this amazing album has surely stood the test of time.
