2011 Grammy Award Winners
As someone interested in music, I watched a little bit of the Grammy Awards last night. OK, I'll be honest, I could only stomach a few minutes of it all. I watched Lady GaGa and her birth from the egg and thought to myself, 'if this is what is popular music these days, I feel sorry for our youth.' However, all was not lost as great musician after great musician were honored. Train, John Legend, Muse, Stanley Clarke and Neil Young all won awards.
But, Arcade Fire took home one of the the biggest awards of the night during the 2011 Grammy Awards. The Montreall-based group won the Album of the Year Award beating early favorites and more popular musicians like Eminem. The indie rock band composed of Win Butler, RĂ©gine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, Sarah Neufield, Tim Kingsbury, Will Butler and Jeremy Gara were all in shock and thanked all their fans. Apparently, they played the end of the show (the commercials in the video give that away) , however, I missed it, should have been there to watch this performance

Gibson.com recently called upon its editors, writers and – most importantly – readers, to weigh in on the greatest riffs in music history. After all the votes were tallied, we were left with the Top 50 Guitar Riffs of All Time.
