Anti-Flag announce bacon-shaped picture disc, ‘Bacon’

Anti-Flag have announced plans to release a new, bacon-shaped picture disc. The 7-inch is titled Bacon is due out December 27, 2012.   The band states:
 
As fellow record enthusiasts, we wanted to bring these new songs to you in a way that was truly special and also reflected everything that we here at AF all love about record collecting. So, with the help of our friends and vinyl wizards over at Pirates Press, here it is: a onetime pressing, limited to 500 hand numbered pieces, of the most unique looking record we’ve ever seen.”

Projectile Vomit Reveals Album Cover Art

The cover artwork for Projectile Vomit's debut release "Dismembering the Sick" was recently revealed.  The artwork was created by Belarus artist Andrey Kroms.

 

Arvin, bass player for Projectile Vomit, commented: "I've known Andrey for some time...since my early Myspace days and we have remained friends ever since. He has always done work for many bands and some of the best Filipino bands including Perverse Molestation and Sagrado. His style and ideas perfectly fit in with our musical style and lyrical content.... We are working on the album and recording will start early next year....and i promise you all, it will be killer."

The 'Dismembering the Sick' album is scheduled to be released via Wretched Decay Records in early 2013.

In Solitude Reissue Debut Album

Swedish metallers In Solitude are set to reissue their debut album on January 22, 2013 in North America. Originally released in 2008, this sold-out and much sought-after cult opus will include two bonus tracks: “Hidden Dangers (In the Night)” - originally recorded in 2006 and only available on an out-of-print 2008 7” and the previously unreleased “Faceless Mistress” demo.

The reissue will be available in three different editions; CD jewel case with slipcase (international edition), CD jewel case (North American edition), and a limited edition double gate-fold LP (45 rpm for enhanced sound!) with a poster and digital download card.
