Top Selling Vinyl Records Sales at eBay - March 2010

Here is the month in review of the top selling ebay vinyl record sales, on a weekly basis, for March of 2010. First and foremost, a special thank you to Norm and Jane at http://ccdiscoveries.blogspot.com/  and Vinyl Record Talk for putting together this interesting data.

Our top seller for the month of March 2010 is a familiar one, The Beatles "Please Please Me" (Parlophone UK Gold Black label 1st Stereo) sold for an astonishing price of $13,496.38. (A second LP sold for $5,349.05 at the end of the month).

Next up is an Elvis Presley 45 rpm "That's All Right" / "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" (Sun 209) which sold for an even $10,000; followed by an LP by Billy Nichols "Would You Believe" (Immediate UK Pressing) which sold for $9,700.

Two classical music 10 inch records by Geroges Enesco ("Beethoven Sonate a Kreutzer" Columbia FC 1058 Mono) sold for $4,050 and $3,300 respectively. An EP by Black Flag ("Nervous Breakdown" SST 1st Press SEALED) sold for $4,200 and a 78 rpm record by Ed Bell ("Frisco Whistle" / "Mean Conductor Blues" Paramount) sold for just under $3940.

Interestingly, two David Bowie 45 rpm singles made the list, "Rock N' Roll With Me" / "Panic In Detroit" (Canadian Pressing), which sold for $3,050 and "Can't Help Thinking About Me" / "And I Say To Myself" (UK Promo w/ Press Photo), which sold for a shade under $2,300.
