this from Drew at THE PLANETARY GROUP i love this video!

Kurt Von Stetten's new record Androlafi is out now and here is the just released video!

Kurt's new video for "Anthropos Elafi," much like his music, was done entirely by himself. He hand-painted the backgrounds, and scanned the animation to create the beautiful, dreamlike landscape that perfectly encapsulates the song.

SHARKMUFFIN

Infectious New Single,“Femebot”

“Frontwoman Tarra Thiessen, who’s vocal performance on the track is A+, reminds a bit (in a very good way) of Chrissie Hynde.” -Blah Blah Blah Science

Fresh off the heals of SXSW, SHARKMUFFIN, are back and have a brand new song waiting for your ears. Off of the highly anticipated EP, She Gods of Champagne Valley, due out next month, the band has just unleashed the debut single, “Femebot,” on Newtown Radio. Filled with hard hitting hooks and boisterous, infectious vocals, singer/guitarist Tarra Thiessen, creates a frenzy with her knack for Riot Grrrl-esque attitude. Alongside bassist Natalie Kirch with Drew Adler on drums the trio create a deadly combination, best described as “Dirty Garage Pop.” Thiessen's gutsy vocals will send shivers down your very spine which jump between gentle moans and rough, forceful screams. Her vocals are sweetly complimented by Kirch's lighter, dreamier melodies which create an astounding performance. Their admiration for 90s alternative Grrrl group-esque hooks are paired perfectly with heavy 1970s inspired guitar riffs that create a raw sound like nothing you've ever heard. Jump into the water, and hear why Sharkmuffin has everyone talking...

“The idea of, ‘The journey is the destination’ is put into action by browsing in an indie record store. Besides, a human being is a much better guide than a ‘More Like This’ link on the internet.” --Patton Oswalt
