Looks like October is a great new music release month with releases from Van Morrison, Diana Krall, Heart, Matt & Kim, John Cale, the Wallflowers and a six disc reissue set from Velvet Underground & Nico, all due in the first week!
The second week features new releases from Acacia Strain, Don Felder, Ty Segall, Jeff Lynne and John Fogerty as well as a slew of Steve Miller Band reissues, the 40th Anniversary Edition of Deep Purple's 'Machine Head,' the Very Beast of Dio Vol. 2 and the Beatles 'Magical Mystery Tour' on DVD and blu-ray.
The third week features the new Kiss album 'Monster,' Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard and his solo effort, Donald Fagen's new album 'Sunken Condos,' and a new release from Brandy, just to name a few.
In the forth week of October, we have new releases by Lady Antebellum, Stone Sour, Bat For Lashes, Taylor Swift and more. We also have the 25th Anniversary Box Set of Peter Gabriel's 'So,' and the Doors with 'Live at the Bowl ’68.'
And in the last week of October we have new releases from Andrew Bird, Black Country Communion, Cradle of Filth and Neil Young & Crazy Horse. We also have Blue Oyster Cult with 'The Columbia Album Collection' and if you can stomach it Rod Stewart with 'Merry Christmas, Baby.'
